In keeping with our philosophy of continuous learning within and beyond the classroom, we have exclusive centres of learning that help achieve our mission. The Learning Centres at Karpagam University include

CISCO Local Academy

The CISCO Network Training Programme is opening new options for careers in networking. An authorized local academy of CISCO Network, it helps to mould the students to meet the latest requirements in the IT space.

Food Processing Centre

The Food Processing Centre is funded by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India. It conducts special short-term training for women on Food Processing and Preservation. Recommended by NGOs, Tamil Nadu Women Development Corporation and DRDA, nearly 300 trainees are being trained.

Community Development Centre

The Community Development Centre conducts Entrepreneurship Development Programmes for youth and women in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and District Industries Centre (DIC).

Panniru Thirumurai Research Centre

The Panniru Thirumurai Research Centre has been established to study and research ancient Tamil Literature, Mythology and Culture. It conducts several symposiums, workshops and music festivals.

Central Animal House Facility

Our University has an Animal Ethical Committee approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India, New Delhi to conduct research on Animals. The University Animal House Facility is built with state-of-art technology where different species of small laboratory animals such as Mice, Rat and Rabbits are bred and maintained. The building is designed as 'Two Way Corridor System' to minimize cross-contamination. The whole facility is centrally air conditioned with 100% fresh air exchange in animal rooms and has uninterrupted power supply. The macro and micro environment around the animals is maintained as per CPCSEA guidelines.
