Computer Application Department

The Department of Computer Applications was established in 1998. The central focus of our curriculum is equipping students for the challenges of the dynamic and fast growing software industry. Well received by the industry, every year we produce around 400 graduates and 180 postgraduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate as an effective team member or team leader in the development of large computer and software systems. They are also trained to be effective communicators with technical and non-technical stakeholders in computer and software systems development

Academics

The degree programmes under our curriculum are principle-based and instill a solid grounding in the fundamental principles of computing. Our graduates are tuned to think independently and creatively, carrying out their own in-depth studies as needed to address new situations in their work.
