Controller of Examinations

Dr.P.Palanivelu is the Controller of Examinations, Director & Professor, School of Commerce and Management, Karpagam University. He is a PhD in Finance from the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Currently he is pursuing MCA from the Periyar University, and is due for completion. Having started with humble beginnings as a lecturer, he has risen to the ranks of the Controller of Examinations. Over the years, he has also held several coveted administrative positions in the University.

Dr.P.Palanivelu's research experience spans 13 years with Finance being his area of specialization. He was the Principal Investigator in the UGC sponsored Major Research Project entitled "THE STUDY ON PERFORMANCE OF GARMENT INDUSTRY IN TIRUPUR". He has been guide and mentor to 47 M.Phil and 8 PhD students.

An able planner and co-ordinator, he has organized several National Level Seminars and Conferences. Dr.P.Palanivelu's proficiency as a writer is reflected through his various publications. He has to his credit 63 papers, presented at the International, National and State Level.

Dr.P.Palanivelu was the recipient of the Certificate of Merit (M.Com, 1993-95) at Erode Arts College, Erode. His invaluable contribution is sure to add value to the University.
